With the help of all of YOU – the Run for a Reason and Family Fun Day event was a spectacular success!
There was something for everyone to enjoy to Sunday, May 22nd – and enjoy we did! The 5K walk/run had over 350 runners along with many kiddos and 4-legged friends who joined in the fun, the kids zone with all the games and bounce houses had over 150 smiling kids playing throughout the day, and each one of the food trucks, from El Burrito Mercado to Peppers and Fries & MN Nice Cream all had long lines and very satisfied customers.
We would like to give a huge shout out to our day of volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and helped guide & cheer for runners on the course, helped with set up & take down, & shared smiles with all the kids during kids activities. Events of this magnitude take a village – and we appreciate you!
The Grief Club of Minnesota would also like to extend our deep appreciation for The Brewery Running Series and Back Channel Brewing. Their staff was nothing short of exceptional and each organization were day brighteners for all the attendees!
